Home away from Home.....

Being in the city on the onset felt to be a difficult part of the journey reason being different weather definitely, food, culture and people. Eventually everything got managed up. Talking about the food the most happiest moment of my life was seeing the indian food and spices at the Save on Food that too at an affordable prices. Phew that was actually a sign of relief. Post that the next hurdle was crossing roads and taking buses. Place where I come from crossing roads had never been a difficult task to be honest just raise your hand and walk off the crosswalks. But here in Canada you got to press the stop button and wait for the street lights to allow you to cross the road. Initially it felt to be a difficult but then now it feels to be a cake walk and no second thought a much more safer way of crossing road. Talking about the transportation the PG Bus transit obviously plays a very helpful role as you can easily get a bus in every 30 minutes from the stops. Not even that the bus timings can easily be tracked from the Google Maps. And yes the buses also mostly arrive on time. Just a small advice the moment you arrive in the city and if you are a student at College of New Caledonia, do get yourself register and get a student ID with your student travel pass from the Student Union to travel for literally free anywhere in the city.

After getting hands on to the transportation system I started to discover the city around. Visiting different places to eat, shop and explore. Me and my friends even made a trip to The Ancient Forest another feather in the hat of Prince George for a small hike to see a small waterfall and see the big trees. Then to Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park a beautifully curated park right at the banks of Fraser River. Followed by that to
